Não é uma solução má não fora o passeio estreito e murado (com peões) para chegar à rampa. E quando não houver rampas e apenas escadas?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Um exemplo são as "novas" estações de caminho de ferro do Lavradio e Baixa da Banheira, que dividem zonas urbanas. Disponibilizam acessos para atravessar a linha de caminho de ferro através de escadas e elevadores.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Eu já utilizei uma vez a estação do Lavradio, e os elevadores estavam fora de serviço. Carregámos as bicicletas vários lanços de escada acima e abaixo. Os elevadores são uma solução técnica complicada, com manutenção cara, lenta, e limitada. Especialmente na presença de peões que realmente não têm outra opção, e que são os destinatários dos elevadores (estes têm uma guerra muito maior e mais desigual que os ciclistas urbanos).&lt;br /&gt;Elevadores não são para bicicletas, especialmente se houver muitas. Uma bicicleta num elevador rouba espaço a uns três ou quatro peões. Funciona em qualquer altura do ano, é bastante robusta, atrapalha pouco quem quiser utilizar o corrimão deste lado da escada, e é uma solução bastante mais económica.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Esta opção vive do senso comum (tantas vezes ausente) &amp;nbsp;expresso no artigo 104 alínea b) do Código da Estrada:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Artigo 104.º (1) Equiparação&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;É equiparado ao trânsito de peões:&lt;br /&gt;a) ...&lt;br /&gt;b) A condução à mão de velocípedes de duas rodas sem carro atrelado e de carros de crianças ou de pessoas com deficiência;&lt;br /&gt;c) ...&lt;br /&gt;d) ...&lt;br /&gt;e) ...&lt;br /&gt;f) ...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Na prática, uma bicicleta pela mão consegue ir onde consegue ir um peão. complicada apresentada aqui até agora.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Envolve&amp;nbsp; repensar o sentido dos sentidos proibidos nas ruas do Barreiro.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Segue-se um exemplo no centro do Barreiro. Para quem está na Rua Vasco da Gama e quer ir para o Túnel da Rua Miguel Bombarda, deslocar-se-á de maneira diferente conforme o meio de transporte disponível. Para evitar umas centenas de metros em piso de paralelepípedo, pode-se contornar pela Rua Stara Zagora (aumentando ainda mais a distância, número de cruzamentos e rotundas atravessados, e tempo). Não sei, e teria que investigar. Mas sei que já foi feito!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;Apesar do código da estrada não permitir o estacionamento nos passeios, na Rua 20 de Abril existia outrora estacionamento abusivo sistematizado no passeio. A dada altura, para acabar com o contínuo estacionamento ilegal, este foi legitimado com a introdução de marcas no passeio e a colocação de pilaretes. É mais desconfortável, e quando o automóvel passa faz mais barulho.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;De bicicleta agrava-se o desconforto.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;O exemplo que mais vezes percorro é o trecho de estrada entre a saída do Túnel da Rua Miguel Bombarda, até à saída para direita para uma das rotundas do fórum. No entanto, talvez fosse mais económico apenas revestir as bermas deste troço de 90m (2 x 90m de comprimento x 0.8 m de largura) para facilitar o conforto dos velocípedes, já que é exactamente nas bermas onde a pavimentação é mais irregular, e também facilitaria a remoção de detritos. Isto é o que faço actualmente para evitar o resto do pavimento na Miguel Bombarda.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;O risco desta medida seria os automóveis circularem com as rodas do lado direito por cima desta ciclovia para poupar metade das suspensões, o que provocaria uma maior deterioração da via.
